ASILE CONFERENCE 2016

Presenter

Luh Sriasih
ASILE conference presentation:
Workshop

Keeping up with the trends in Indonesian Language Teaching for Foreign Speakers:
Introduction to Bahasa Indonesia courses, projects and new ventures at IALF Bali

Abstract
More Bahasa Indonesian learners nowadays have expressed their interest not only in what but also how they would like to learn the language. In other words, they are interested in the approach in the teaching and learning process, tools through which they will learn and whether their learning will keep up with the current trends.

Despite the doubt that Bahasa indonesia will survive in the foreign language teaching world, IALF Bali as one of the leading language training organizations in Indonesia has established a strong reputation for its Bahasa Indonesia courses, with a variety of programs and flexibility to any learning needs. Significant partnership projects with institutions in Australia have gradually attracted more teachers and students in Australia.

Challenges are inevitable but IALF Bali has continuously introduced new ideas and ventures so that Bahasa Indonesia  will regain its reputation as one of the most spoken languages in the world.
