ASILE CONFERENCE 2016

TOURISM

Tourist attractions abound in the Adelaide CBD. Should you have time before or after ASILE Conference 2016 you may enjoy exploring some of the tourist attractions within the North Terrace precinct such as the SAHMRI Building, Old and New Parliament House, the Historic Adelaide Casino, South Australian Museum, Art Gallery of South Australia, State Library of South Australia, Adelaide University and Botanic Gardens of South Australia.

Close to these sites you can also find the Adelaide Zoo, Migration Museum, Adelaide Festival Centre,  and National Wine Centre. You may also enjoy the panoramic city views from Elder Park or even take a ride on The Popeye.

For those who enjoy shopping the Adelaide Central Market is a must, along with a visit to the shopping and dining precincts of Hindley Street, Rundle Mall, Rundle Street and East End. Take time to explore the bustling laneways and arcades around these areas to discover many
unique hidden gems.

Located only 12km from the heart of Adelaide City, Glenelg is a charming seaside suburb with sandy white shores, a lovely jetty, town square, bustling shops and restaurants and attractions for all ages. Accessible via Tram from the city, this is just one of many tourist attractions to be found outside of the Adelaide CBD.
